All Pizza-Huts released their new hot honey pizza earlier this year. The hot honey trend has been taking on the food industry all over the country. This addition to pizza has brought on an elevated taste like never before. 

The hot honey pizza is filled with a cheesy layer topped off with double pepperoni. The pepperoni covers every spot of the pizza having crisp edges without being burnt. The layer of pepperoni also forms small cups on the pizza that perfectly hold the flavor.

The hot honey is put on generously. The hot honey holds great within the pepperoni shells. The honey provides a spicy, but sweet taste that makes the taste even better. The pepperoni also provides a savory taste in contrast with the pizza. These two components compliment each other to make this pizza one of my favorites.

I was worried that with the honey it would cause the actual base of the pizza and the crust to be soggy. I was in fact quite surprised that it was still able to have a sturdy base that was still flavourful. The crust stayed intact even with the addition of the honey and still provided a crunch. 

I would 100 percent recommend this pizza for anyone to try. If you are a lover of the sweet and savory combination this pizza will definitely hit the right spot. This pizza does only come in a medium and large size, but don’t worry you won’t want to share!
