Valentine’s Day is a special day to spend with your loved one and there are many restaurants and fun activities that you can do.
One of the best restaurants around here is Lucrezia Italian Ristorante in Crown Point. The price range is higher but the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurants makes it worth your while. Another great price that’s a little cheaper is Little Italy in Dyer. They have great pasta and entrees, and they also have brick oven pizza too if you wanted to share with your loved ones.
Another fun place with a very interesting experience is House of Kobi in Merrillville. Their food is really good and the chiefs are very skilled. Asparagus in Merrillville is a fusion restaurant featuring Thai, Vietnamese, French and American food.
I would suggest making a reservation for the 15th because most likely all reservations are taking up on the 14th.
If you want something more casual, El Poblanos is a great Mexican restaurant in Merrillville that serves a variety of Mexican dishes.Their menu consists of tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, tamales and chile relleno.
BJ’s Brewhouse is also another local casual restaurant that you can go to. They have a lot of good American food and their desserts are really good, too. The highlighted menu items consist of their deep dish pizza popular toppings include classics like pepperoni, sausage, and their signature “BJ’s Classic Combo.” They also have Baby Back Ribs They’re slow-cooked and served with a tangy BBQ sauce. Their famous dessert the Pizookie Is a warm cookie with ice cream with toppings.
Don’t forget we have Friday off. If you want to do something more active than dinner or lunch, I would check out things like skating or ice skating. They have an ice skating rink at Central Park in Valparaiso at the Central Park. There’s another one in Crown Point at Bulldog Park. Or try your hand at Sk8 world for regular skating.
But if you were looking for date ideas at home, you could watch a movie, try painting, cooking, baking, building Legos or board games.
