Hello! My name is Jalen Thomas, and I’m a senior at Merrillville High School. This is my first year of being a writer for the student newspaper. I joined the boy’s golf team last year and plan to be part of the freshman mentors group this year. Although I posses a generally quiet demeanor, I’m a friendly person with a warm personality!
