Where to find help

If you suspect that you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship please tell someone whether that’s administration, a loved one, or a friend. Abusive relationships can lead to depression, suicide, and mental health challenges.

On average, more than 3 women and 1 man are murdered by their intimate partners in the U.S. every day.

Reach out to someone before it’s too late and you or someone you love becomes another number in the statistics. Leaving the relationship can be a very difficult task, but just starting with saying you need help is a starting point to the outcome.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. For more information on warning signs or how to get help, visit www.thehotline.com or call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
