Q: Describe how you were feeling when you first found out you were nominated to be on the court.
A: “When I first found out I had been nominated, I was in high disbelief. I know that I’m an active student when it comes to extracurriculars and my grades are very good, but for some reason I never thought a teacher would nominate me. Especially since in most classes, I never spoke to my teachers more than the usual question asking and things like that.”
Q: What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
A: “I have been 90% involved in theatre since my freshman year and honestly it takes up a lot of my time (we usually do school and then rehearsals to 9:00 or 10:00 at the latest!) and I can’t participate in much else. But I was also a part of marching band my freshman and sophomore year, GSA, and this year I’m considering signing up for Student Government!”
Q: What are your plans for after high school?
A: “I’m kinda undecided in my plans for after high school but it’s beginning to look like I might major in Theatre and possibly look into other minors like Graphic Design or Computer Science.”
Q: What is one of your favorite high school memories?
A: “Most of my favorite memories from high school are revolved around my time in theatre. My absolute favorite though is when we had a Christmas potluck in the Small Theatre and my friends and I all dressed up in Eeyore onesies. Most of the troupe was there and it was a total blast! I really appreciate the memory now considering that I didn’t know at the time that that would be one of the last moments I got to hang out with a REALLY large group of people for awhile.”
